Prismerized Randy & Shelley Knapp

Prismerized is a handheld kaleidoscope. It is a limited edition of 100.  The scopes are signed SK96 and then numbered on the side of the object cell.  There is also stamping in the metal of the eyepiece that says “Shelley Knapp Kaleidoscopes”.  The PVC barrel is painted with a multicolored metallic flake paint with black anodized aluminum ends.  The turning end has a fluid filled cell, side lit with a black background.  The cells contain flame worked glass and some dichroic, the flame worked glass is primarily white.  There is a prismatic filter that creates a rainbow of color that is really the dominant feature of the image.  It has a 2M/6P mirror system.
